Etched plaques, particularly in high-grade stainless steel, have two main advantages over cast plaques: they can be created directly from a customer’s own artwork and they are relatively inexpensive. Engraved plaques, often in brass, are supplied primarily as small commemorative plaques, for corporate i.d. use or for indoor use in public buildings and schools.
