As a venue for events on a lovely site in Llandudno overlooking the Irish Sea, Conwy Council wanted a small Alice in Wonderland-themed bandstand.
The most enjoyable part of this project was carving and modelling patterns for Alice, the Mad Hatter, playing-card soldiers and the caterpillar & mushroom which form the bandstand finial. The entire structure was made of aluminium – both the structural elements and the sculptural details. Conwy Council were delighted with the results.
