A major commission this year, and still ongoing, has been the creation of 32 large floor bronzes forming a chronological history of Dudley in the West Midlands. Each 600mm square plaque features carved images ranging from Victorian gentlemen to trilobites. All of these were carved in clay by our Alan Clarke and Alex Worth. Resin copies were made from each clay model to incorporate into the casting patterns.
By September 2015, the last of the 32 plaques will have been set into the new town centre paving, completing perhaps the longest and certainly the most vivid pavement history trail in the country.
