The original Penydarren tramroad and other horse-drawn plateways around Merthyr Tydfil disappeared long ago.
As part of an enhancement scheme in the area, it was decided that a replica tramway wagon would make an excellent and appropriate feature. We were commissioned to build the replica, based on a sketch drawing by an archaeologist. Here is the end result.
