For some time, we’ve been looking to recruit a top blacksmith so that any forging work could be done in-house, and we’ve succeeded! Our new smith, Steve Bowyer, has thirty years of experience and has worked on some extremely complex and prestigious projects including the magnificent gates at Chirk Castle, Powys Castle and Chatsworth House. The photo shows him working on new balustrade panels for a bandstand in Crawley, W Sussex. We are restoring the whole structure in our workshops for Crawley Borough Council.
